On the heels of announcing three new bike lanes in Russell and California neighborhoods, Mayor Greg Fischer today dedicated a new segment of the Louisville Loop, a planned 100-mile ring of paved, shared-use paths circling Jefferson County. Bike Lanes Slated for 12th, 13th, and West Kentucky Streets

It’s been a relatively slow year for bike lanes in Louisville. So far this year, the city has opened only 1.2 miles of bike lanes—the set of new lanes on West Chestnut Street and Muhammad Ali Boulevard in Downtown and Russell.
